Fatih Birol
Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA)
Fatih Birol has been serving as the Executive Director of the IEA since 2015. Under his leadership, the IEA has been at the forefront of global efforts to achieve international climate goals, ensuring that the social and economic impacts of energy security and the transition to clean energy are central to policy decisions. Having worked at the IEA for over 20 years, he was listed among the most influential figures in the energy sector by Time magazine in 2021, most influential person in the energy sector by Forbes USA, and “Energy Person of the Year” by the Financial Times in 2017.

James Bacchus
Distinguished Professor in the Department of International Studies at the University of Central Florida
Professor James Bacchus, who served as a U.S. Representative from 1991 to 1995, is not only a politician, but a world-renowned scholar in international trade law, playing a key role in resolving international trade disputes for the U.S. government and the World Trade Organization (WTO). He is the author of "The Willing World," which addresses sustainable global economics and environmental governance. Currently, he is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of International Studies at the University of Central Florida, and Director of the Center for Global Economic and Environmental Opportunity. He formerly served as a Senior Advisor at the Geneva International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development in Geneva, Switzerland.
